Most of the world knows about Jallianwala Bagh.
I am telling about my journey because we all reach Punjab. There we take a hotel where the room rate is 2500 to 5000 rupees. I was with my husband. Then I told my husband that we should go to another hotel. Then they started talking. He said that sir we have one more room for which you can pay 1500 rupees. Then my husband likes it. He said that there is a room upstairs also which is available for 1500 rupees. Everyone takes the bags out of the car. They all go to the room. They say that it is very nice. Then we wake up early in the morning and after getting ready we go to Jallianwala Bagh.
We all reach there. Then we see something written on the wall. This was done on 13 April 1919 on the orders of General Michael. It was done by the British in which there is also mention of firing. In this many people including children and women got injured. It is estimated that 379 people died and more than 1200 were injured. This is also called a massacre in Punjab.
Then we see a well from where water was being taken since 1919. Now it has been closed. After that we also see a tree. Now that tree is standing, it can be about 30 to 50 feet. Then we also see a pond nearby. There is a lot of water in that pond in which many lotus flowers can be seen but they are not blooming yet.
