Underwater Photography: Natural Spring Opening

I've always been fascinated with how rivers began. Where does the water come from? This is a picture taken at Fanning Springs in Florida that shows where the water comes out of the ground. The water was a little bit cold even in the summer, but this is a fun place to go snorkeling and it felt good to swim in once I got used to it.
