Snapshots of Asia

in #travel8 years ago

I am quite addicted to travelling and one advantage of living in East Asia is that South East Asia is very close.

I would like to share with you guys some of the shots that I have taken around different Asian countries. They can represent, I hope, a little bit of the beauty of this world.

Angkor Wat, Cambodia

This ancient temple is still a sanctuary for the monks.

SM mall, Manila, Phillipines

It was turned from a small shoe mart to one of the largest department stores in Asia.

Bangkok, Thailand

One of the many hotel resorts in Thailand.

Lantau Peak, Hong Kong

The second highest peak in Hong Kong and the highest point on Lantau Island.

Caesars Golf course, Macau

It is very rare to see this much green in Macau.

Kyoto, Japan

Japanese have a keen heart for miniatures. These miniature vegetables even have their own miniature versions.

Jishu Jinja Shrine, Kyoto, Japan

A matchmaking shrine. Perfect for people who are looking for love or in love.

Kobe, Japan

A shopping mall with western facade.

Millennium plaza, Seoul, Korea

A 132 meters tower owned by Samsung.

Insa-dong, Seoul, Korea

A street with a lot of antique shops, souvenir shops and of course cafes.

Insa-dong, Seoul, Korea

A small alley for lovers to hang their vows written on a plastic card.

I hope you have enjoyed these snapshots and inspire you to visit these parts of Asia.
