Travel Diaries #6 – Glamorous Dubai
In my initial post of Dubai, I mentioned Dubai as a concrete jungle (Travel-diaries-5-the-concrete-jungle-dubai, but here I write now Dubai a Glamorous city. This is what I feel after being here for a few days. I guess if not completely wrong but I did have some misconceptions of Dubai, and I kind of like the place after being there. We had a fabulous time and there are so many things to do here.
Dubai offers you a wide range of attractions, activities, fun, and adventure. Every age group will have something to look forward to here. Of course in our 5 days trip not that we could cover everything but then yes we tried our best to maximize as much as we could.
We visited IMG adventure park, Burj Khalifa, Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Ski Dubai Snow Park, Global Village. Sharing a few pictures of our fabulous trip.

In adventure we covered Hot Air Balloon, Desert Safari and the kids also did Sky Diving which was the most memorable experience for them.
My first Hot Air Balloon ride experience in Life, It was a thrilling experience for me. I am not a very adventurous person, but these small expeditions do en-light me. This was 3500 feet high
And the kids enjoyed the Sky dive
Desert Safari was a nice experience, but I feel it could have been a little better experience. We had done a Desert Safari in Egypt, which I found was much better than this one, but overall we enjoyed a lot, there was aBelly dance, and a juggling fire act
What I missed out is the Miracle Garden, which we wanted to but due to time constraint we could not.
Overall it was a fun filled and a thrilling holiday, but yes Dubai is an expensive place and no amount of money is enough here, so if you are planning to make a trip make sure you have pockets full to enjoy the place thoroughly.
Some absolutely do not miss in Dubai is the Burj Khalifa, Desert Safari, If you are an adventurous person then sky diving, or if you are someone like me who would like to do something more relaxed then a Hot Air Balloon ride, and yes then of course try the Sheesha (Hookah) and the local cuisine. Do not miss to see the night life, you may not go to a pub for that, just go to the Burj Khalifa area and you will find almost the entire of Dubai there.

You must visit this happening place on earth Vishwas. Although its expensive espacially when it comes to attractions but worth every bit of it. Thanks for your support although could be better :-)

Ha ha ha. The hot Air Ballooning was indeed an adventure. We were just standing in a halfopen basket with just a belt round our waist for safety. Indeed an experience espacially while landing with 3 bumps and the basket tumbling over :-). Many thanks for your suppprt Gautam.
