Growing up in Kenya was one of the best things that ever happened in Kenya. Kenya was not the best in the world, let alone the best in East Africa, but it was home. We were brought in a country where poverty was printed on our foreheads and no matter how hard we tried to succeed, our mentality of dying poor would not let us have a hope of better future.

So many times we had to be content with the idea that on a lucky we would have one meal before the sun sets.I remember the house that i grew up in, a mud house which was likely to kick the bucket anytime soon. A house that had seen better days that we were only charged $5 a month and yet we could not afford it as every month we were afraid of being locked out.

The reason why I started with the above statements was to give an idea of what many people went through in my neighborhood and my in my country but through this painful experiences we learned to depend on each other to survive another day. We always had a way to maneuver through the jungle of life with the hope of a better tomorrow.

Being born in a country where tribal leaders confuse people to make them think that the other tribes hate them, we had to learn how to block the harsh words of those leaders in order to live together as one people with one idea, the idea of a better future for the coming generations. These techniques always worked but sometimes when it never did then we had to pay dearly with our blood and in the process, I lost friends, neighbors, family members and countrymen who haD a vision of a better Kenya.

It hurts so much when seeing a country fighting itself but sometimes the only thing you can do is hard behind a keyboard and hope that the next article you will write will inspire a person(s) who share the vision of togetherness and love because for me my mom always tells me that it doesn't matter whether you come from rich, poor, black, white or Indian because we all bleed red.

GREATEST NATION
Despite all the challenges, Kenya has grown to become one of the best nations to visit in East Africa. The climate in this country is the one to "die for" literally.

A country with over 42 tribes, Kenya is a country that is rich in culture. What do i mean when i say this? Imagine going to the western part of Kenya and meeting the heavily built Luo and Luhya men and I havent even talked about the beautiful ladies from those areas.

Take a tour of Central Kenya and meet the Kikuyus(Am one of them) who sleep while thinking about money and business and am not even going to mention the beautiful ladies that will make you stare.

Lets talked about the natural resources that we have been blessed with for a bit. Kenya has one of the best natural sceneries in the world(not exaggerating) and any person who has visited Kenya can confirm this statement. We have been blessed with great spectacles such as the Nandi highlands that extend almost half of the country. This provides the Rift Valley area with an eye-catching view which can be seen in far distances and when seen at close distance then you realize how magnificent the place looks like.

I don't want to write everything here(i really wish I could) but what I can say to you is that you need to come to Kenya and see everything for yourself and I can guarantee you that you will never regret this move and since the holidays are here, why dont you take the next flight and come TEMBEA KENYA.
