The Ulun Danu Beratan Temple (floating temple)
Among the many thousands of temples in Bali, the most interesting is the so-called water temple(floating temple). This temple lies on the shore of Beratan Lake near Bedugul. It was built in 1663 to honor the goddess of the lakes and rivers, Dévi Danu. Who is also the goddess of fertility, that is why every year hundreds of Indonesian couples come to the lake to pray for childbirth. I shot these pictures with my Samsung Galaxy S3 mobile.
