Sumba

They say Sumba is what Bali was 30 years ago. I love the Bali of today but when I went to Sumba, the island enchanted me.

Breathtaking landscapes, tiny (but proper) roads, endless unpopulated areas and incredibly welcoming people kept me amazed 24h a day.

When I went to take pictures of sunrise one day, I met these two fishermen. They were so happy to be in my picture and talk to me. In the end, they even gave me and my friend some of the fish they had caught for free. I felt really close to them even though there were lots of barriers of communication.
