Travel BAN When?

I have met far too many. And each and every one of them has been utterly reprehensible.
Edit: I tried that before the election. I tried reasoned debate and discussion, I tried compassion. Every attempt to actually understand what these people wanted was met with slurs, hatred, and over -jpeg'd pictures of a green frog. Then he won. After the past 9 months of disaster, I have nothing but contempt in my heart for those who still support him. I want to make it clear that when I say "Trump supporters" I really do mean "supporters," not "voters." There is a guy who sits next to me in my German class who voted for Trump to keep Clinton out of the White House. He says he "didn't fuck with the Clintons, they kill people." He also says that casting his vote for Trump was "the worst decision of [his] life" and if he could do it all over again, he'd do more serious research into Clinton to get past the propaganda and then vote for her. While I cannot say that I respect his decision to vote Trump, I also certainly do not find him anything close to vile, disgusting, or reprehensible, and I have great respect for his ability to break past cognitive bias and see that he fucked up. He's a good kid with the wool pulled over his eyes.
But the wool's been lifted. If you still support Trump after all this time, I have absolutely no respect left for you.

Sort:

I support our president. Like is an abstract idea. His mouth is irritating. But yeah, I support him. I respect your choice not to. But that doesn’t make me reprehensible. I’m a pretty good dude.
