The infinite blue scenery
After a busy and stressful working week, I can not help but enjoy the carefree moments in the family circle. The fact that I do not need to look at the clock and constantly think of the meetings is simply priceless.
And just like that was the previous weekend when we took the time for ourselves, we simply got into the car and drove to Trieste (Italy). Not such a long ride led us to a view that immediately closed our mouth and left us enjoying the moment.
The infinite blue of the sky, which blended with the vague edge of the sea, led us to the summers through a quick process. I would not want to skip the spring, the season I admire immensely, but I still have to say that we could not delete smiles from our faces. We decided to visit one famous castle in that region - the Miramare.
The fairy city of Miramar lies about six kilometers northwest of Trieste. By the road, you will soon be welcomed by the first road sign for Castello Miramare, which has been observing sparkling waves since the ancient year 1860. At that time, the main port city of Habsburgs was built upon the request of Maximilian Habsburg.
The name of the castle, which in Spanish means sea view, is justified since this should be seen from every window. It can not be missed.
With its mighty white facade, it warns you from afar, and the view from the nearby reveals an extremely high quality and precisely built building with numerous windows and balconies.
It is surrounded by a high wall that once served to protect against attackers and adorned with different coats of arms and is illuminated by beautiful lamps.
The castle itself is surrounded by a beautiful park with rare exotic plants and countless statues.
A walk along it will restore you to the time when the greatest European gentlemen walked through the castle gardens, and a personal avenue will take you all the way to the shore with its own swimming pool, mooring and an exceptional view of the fairytale structure that can also be seen from the walls, because it has a museum in it.
So my advice to you, if you are planning to visit Trieste is to take time to see numerous rooms with fireplaces, magnificent paintings, massive furniture, fully loaded book shelves, and rich carpets. It's easy to imagine how the inhabitants of the city lived, or visitors to the castle. Especially if you did not have the opportunity before.
This will be enough from my site for today. I hope you enjoyed my photos, and stay tuned - I have more for you to see in the near future. Good night.
Thank you for this travel aricle. Going to Trieste sounds good after this post.

Thank you @oldtimer! It was truly calming blue :)
Thank you for so many beautiful photos and such a detailed description of Miramare castle. We visit Trieste almost every summer, but we didn't take the time to go and see it up close. But after reading this post we need to put this place on a list of things to see. Have a nice day, and I am hardly waiting for more posts from your side.
Hey my dear @emmamia :) My pleasure to share with you our trips. And I agree with you: put Miramare on first place on your list of things to see now in spring season. And don't forget to share with us...;)
I will do for sure, hopefully my family will agree. 😊 Thanks again for a suggestion. Have a wonderful rest of the working week.
