Molivio Bridge
It is a bridge located in the north of Rome. It is one of the most important bridges over the Tiber River and is very popular worldwide since it is visited by millions of lovers who come to it to close ties of love.
The bridge began to attract the interest of couples, who use the lamppost on it to hang locks as a sign of their love. In the ritual, the couple holds the padlock to the post and then throws the key to the Tiber. On April 13, 2007, due to the weight of all the locks, the street lamps fell. After this, the mayor of Rome ordered placed adjacent to the lampposts some steel poles joined by chains, in which the locks were placed. These were removed from the bridge in September 2012 and the custom eradicated permanently
It is an incredible place that at some point I would like to visit, it is great to see that Rome has these historic places that apart from having this custom was a place where many wars were won in the past....
