Genoa, Italy: where to go, what to do (La Superba)
A foreign friend of mine recently asked me what I would suggest to visit here in Genoa. I answered her “Have you got a comfortable pair of shoes?” She looked at me a little surprised and she asked why. Since Genoa is a gorgeous city with so many artistic and historical sights to visit walking a lot is a must. It’s so fascinating wondering around Genoa and venturing through the narrow streets and alleys leading down to the sea. It’s amazing being guided by the colours, scents and suggestive lights and spaces created by the magnificent buildings overlooking alleys alternating with tiny squares full of history and charm.

With all due respect, what I would suggest about Genoa is to spend 1 day at max and go to Cinque Terre :)
