Hope you are doing good today! 🌞 Today I would like to introduce a hidden gem in Hong Kong to you. It is a restaurant called "The BASE" located in a industrial building in Kwun Tong. Everyone knows Hong Kong property is outrageously expensive, it's relatively hard to sustain a restaurant with such soaring rent. So, revitalised old industrial buildings,with a relatively cheaper rent, has become a alternative choice for people who would like to start up a restaurant. "The Base" is located in one of these industrial buildings.

Steemit的朋友大家好，今天想跟大家分享一間位於觀塘公業大廈的餐廳-The BASE。香港是全球住宅租金最貴的地方，寸金尺土，地鋪當然也十分昂貴，很多商戶或餐廳很多都負擔不起昂貴的租金，近年都選擇進駐觀塘工廠區，租金相對比較平宜。The Base就是其中一分子，我們一起來探索這一家工廠餐廳吧。🌞

"The BASE" is located around 4 minutes walk from Kwun Tong Station Exit B2.

從觀塘站B2出口步行大概4分鐘左右就可以到我們今天的目的地－The BASE。

Located on the fifth flour of a industrial building, it's a modern restaurant with simple decor. It's simple but cozy.

餐廳位於一間工廈的5樓，餐廳是走簡潔路線，冷酷而富型格，沒有過多的裝飾和佈置，加上木系的桌椅平衡灰冷的工業風格，令室內設計更和諧。

進門先看到就是一個coffee bar,還有一幅晝滿圖案和店舖名稱的小黑板。

What's more, they have a little garden. This is rarely found in Hong Kong restaurant. As we are the first group of guest, we are able to take some photos of this beautiful garden.

室內的空間不算很大，不過令人驚喜的是他們有個露天的花園，還裁種不少植物作點綴。我們是第一批客人到餐廳，所以可以隨意在花園拍照。

這個花園的小角落大概是為了讓想拍照的客人佈置的吧🙈

I guess this is a smoking area for people to chill. Although the environment in the garden is quite nice, I still prefer sitting indoor :P It's too hot in Hong Kong.

雖然室外的花園感覺比較開揚，不過我還是坐裏面好啦，因為外面是沒有冷氣的~

Ocean Blue Chocolate (Mint)—Its has a beautiful name, Ocean Blue. I love the presentation of this drink. One the left, we have a warm chocolate and iced milk on the right with some mint liquid at the bottom. My friend said it taste pretty good.

手制藍薄荷朱古力－它英文名字比較特別，叫ocean blue，藍色海洋，我很喜歡這杯飲料的擺盤，好美呀~喝的時候把左邊那杯微溫的朱古力倒入右邊的有藍薄荷的冰牛奶，同行的朋友說味道很不錯～

Popping Rainforest Smoothies－It's a pineapple juice smoothies mixed with some popping candies. It's quite refreshing but tastes a little bit too sweet to me.

爆炸熱帶雨果－另一杯餐廳特色飲品，口感有點像沙冰，像菠蘿口味的沙冰，爆炸的意思飲料裏面放了爆炸糖，感覺還蠻特別的，不過有點偏甜。

Iced Shaken Lychee Black Tea－It's a black tea with a hint of lychee flavour. My friend said it's refreshing but not very special though.

冰搖荔枝鮮紅茶－ 這杯很不錯，紅茶帶有荔枝的香味，很清爽。

Popping Yogurt Berries－Another signature drink of this restaurant. I like this more than the Forest Smoothies. Taste like strawberry yogurt smoothies~

爆炸乳酪野莓－ 這杯跟上面的爆炸熱帶雨果是差不多，不過沒有那麼甜，所以我個人比較喜歡這杯。

Sweet Potato Fries, Curry DIP－I loveeee this dish. The potato fries are very crispy and the sauce tastes like heaven >V< I just can't get enough of them..Highly recommend!!!

咖喱番薯條 首先到的是一款前菜，這個真的很好吃，強烈推薦，炸的酥脆的蕃薯條配上店家特調的甜甜的咖哩醬，真的忍不住一條接一條的放進口𥚃。

Ink Risotto and Squid, Creamy tomato sauce and vegetable－The risotto is wrapped with Squid and served with creamy tomato sauce and vegetables. Love the taste of it. Very delicious.

燒原隻魷魚釀墨魚汁意大利飯－這款不但賣相特別，味道也非常好，用魷魚包著黑色的意大利飯再配上有點蕃茄昧的醬汁，很香滑濃稠。

Grill Tiger Prawn and Seasonal Seafood, Malay-Laska, Casareccia Pasta－This is a fusion dish of Western and Malaysia styles. If you like laska or curry, you will like this dish. This is my favourite dish so far as I love laska:P

馬來喇沙大虎蝦海鮮孖辮粉－ 大虎蝦很鮮甜上，配上彈牙咬口的孖辮粉和喇沙微辣的醬汁，很好吃。

Slow cook Shredded Chicken Burger& Sunny Side Up－Another fusion dish of this restaurant. It's a combination of Chinese and Western style. It's very yummy.

慢煮手撕雞漢堡－一款中西合璧的菜色，用手撕雞代替牛肉也很不錯，還配上份量不少的薯格，又脆又熱，十分豐富。

The BASE More Wagyu Cheese Burger－the beef is surprisingly thick and the quality of the beef is very juicy.

澳洲M級肉醬和牛芝士漢堡－牛扒牛味濃郁，搭配酸酸的肉醬，夾帶蕃茄，生菜，煙肉一起吃，非常開胃~

Grilled Salmon with Miso, Pear, Rocket and Pan-Seared Canada Wild Rice Terrine－the salmon is perfectly cooked. Nicole said this is her favourite dish of this visit.

燒味增三文魚配香梨沙律，香煎加拿大冰湖野米-這款的三文魚扒火候拿捏得剛剛好，不會太乾，實在是令人驚艷不已

Opinion 評價 :

Highly Recommended~This is an undiscovered gem in Kwun Tong. The menu has a unique set of dishes, with a blend of typical Western fare as well as some "fusion" style offerings. The dishes are well present and taste very good.

總結來說，高度推薦給大家，是一家很有質素的餐廳，不但菜單特別融合不同風格，擺盤味道都很棒，大家如果逛附近的特賣場，有推薦大家試試這家餐廳 😋
