Wanderlust | Baler, Aurora Philippines (Day 3)

So on our third day in Baler last April 24, 2017 as always, we woke up early again. It is a province everyone’s waking up early and who the hell will wake up late in a beautiful place like Baler? Well, we don’t. We don’t want to waste our day sleeping the morning away. Anyway, as I said we woke up early because, like I said in my day 2 blog post our friends other best friend who were supposed to bring us to eat saw and barbeque the night before promised us to just tour us around Baler. Of course we ate our breakfast and waited for them.

When our friend’s best friends arrived, which are two guys. The guy that we were with when we went to Villa Juana and this guy who were going to drive us around Baler. They brought us to the Ampere Beach which was the most beautiful place I have ever seen in Aurora. Unfortunately, Ampere Beach is not in Baler anymore. It is actually located in Dipaculao, Aurora. It is along the highway and you have to stop at the side to admire the beautiful view and of course take some pictures. Ampere beach does not have any sand it is just all stones, but the clear blue water and the waves was so breathtaking.

Our next stop was our friend’s aunt’s sister in law’s resort (do I make sense? Hahaha). Our friend’s father told us to meet them there, but we didn’t notice the road to the resort so we waited for them and follow them towards the resort. The resort is still located in Dipaculao. As always the resort has been all stones. There was no sand on the beach, but the water was clear blue. There are three rooms for rent in the resort. Our friend’s aunt said that the next time we decided to go back to Baler we should stay there. The rooms cost 1500 PHP per night. There was bathroom in each room and it was big enough for maybe 5-7 people. You can also rent the whole resort for 5000 PHP for a day and that also includes the rooms. We were talking about staying there for our next vacation in Baler but it was kind of a hassle. Because we don’t have any car and the resort takes 30 minute drive to downtown. There were no markets and restaurant close by. But the resort was really beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures of the resort but I can show you some of our pictures in the resort.

We stayed in the resort for an hour or two and we went back home because our friend’s best friend has an event to attend to. When we got back to the house we took a rest and of course cook our lunch. Perks of being a food technology graduate or you know how to cook is that you don’t have to pay double for some restaurant meals because you can cook it by yourself and save more money. Anyways, we just lay on the bed for a while, while waiting for our food to cook. We almost overcooked it because we fell asleep. It’s a good thing our friend woke up when she dreamed of our food. Which made me laugh so hard when she told me that. After eating, we decided to just hang out in front of the house where we usually eat and play cards. After playing cards, we decided to go back inside and watch some random movies while some of us fell asleep. At around 4:30 in the afternoon I decided to take a bath because we had plans to go stroll downtown for the last time at around 5 in the afternoon. After getting ready we all went downtown to look for some souvenirs.

Then, went back home because we decided to go to this restaurant where they serve this large burger that are for 6-8 persons and our friend’s father will also bring us to eat isaw and barbeque. Honestly, I don’t eat isaw but I do eat barbeque.

So that was my experience in Baler, Aurora Philippines. I truly recommend for you guys to go to Baler, Aurora Philippines. You won’t regret it. I hope you guys enjoyed my posts. And see you again in my next escapades. I hope it will be soon.
