As you enter CEDAR, you’ll passed by these beautiful giant trees along the path. Yes, CEDAR is definitely surrounded by these giant trees no wonder it has a cooler temperature and relaxing ambiance.

You’ll have to walk further til you get to the pool. Just by walking towards it you’ll absolutely feel the coolness of the water. Its water source is from the spring that’s why its cold as ice and has a crystal clear look.

There are FOUR waterfalls in this area. You heard it right, FOUR waterfalls in one place! Seems exciting don’t you think?! But this is not the “SMOOTH-FRIENDLY” kind of place, you’ll have to RIVER-TREK before you get to the waterfalls! And this is where the adventure begins!

Please note: The grounds are quite slippery, so you better be careful.

1. Natigbasan Falls

Natigbasan Falls is the first waterfalls you’ll pass by and beside it is Gantungan Falls.

You’ll have to get down the mountain in order for you to get through the waterfalls.

It was quite difficult cause there were no ropes to hold on to just tree branches and rocks. When we finally got down, the breeze was even cooler!

It TRULY is MAJESTIC!

The current of the water is quite strong and there are huge rocks, be careful.

2. Gantungan Falls

Since Natigbasan is beside Gantungan Falls, it was easier for us to get there but that doesn’t mean you have to becarefree about it.

What’s amazing about this waterfalls is that you’ll have to pass by a cave before you get there. They also call it Cave Waterfalls.

It’s really mysterious since both rocks of Gantungan Falls is symmetrical to each other.

3. Macabayot Falls

You’ll have to go a long way to get here. This is what river-trekking is about and it’s exciting due to the challenges you’ll encounter. There are huge rocks, strong water current, and slippery ground.

This falls was named “MACABAYOT” caused you have to go cliff diving. (According to friends, who lives near CEDAR).

The photo we inserted doesn’t justify the height of Macabayot Falls but don’t be deceived by this imaged. This falls is higher than you think.

We had videos of friends diving from the cliff but t’was deleted. It’s kind of sad.

4. Dila Falls

Last but not the least, DILA FALLS. This waterfalls is the highest waterfalls in CEDAR. We had to climb back up to reach the fourth waterfall.

We don’t know why it was called DILA Falls though. DILA is a Bisayan word for TONGUE. Yeah, it’s quite weird. Hehe.

We also had pictures at the top of the falls, it was ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING!!!
