Paris-Lourve Museum visit - Informations about the museum

in #travel7 years ago

Hello, today I will show you some pictures from the Lourve museum I visited and most admired in my travels around Paris and I will tell you the general outline. In most places, taking pictures is prohibited, so I took them where I can shoot them. Pleasant readings :)

The Louvre Museum is one of the largest palaces in Paris, as well as home to the world's most important collection of historical art. The museum has a huge and historic building. It was built as a palace at the beginning of the 13th century. The palace, named after the English word "Lower" for strength and power, was later turned into a museum and added to the famous glass pyramid, which was converted into a museum by Napoleon in 1989. From the moment you enter, you are amazed at everything from the walls to the ceiling, from the tables on the walls. There are close to 35,000 works in it. "If you spend more than 1 minute on each piece, it will not end in 1 year." Da Vinci, Poussin, and Jacques Louis David are the first to come to mind as well as the works of important painters and sculptors.

The interior is huge and you can really go for every floor, taking 6-7 hours a day, so that you can scrutinize every piece carefully. I traveled to the floors with more famous works because I could spare up to 4 hours for that day. At the entrance of the museum, you can see what famous artifacts are on which floors in the handout brochure.

The floors and artifacts are generally separated by similar cultures.

The collections in the museum are as follows:

• French Tables
• French Sculptures
•Ancient Egypt
•Ancient Greek
• Eastern Art
• Italian Tables
• Italian Sculptures
• Flemish Pictures
• Objects d'Art
• Islamic art
