Wararrka national park, home of kings canyon. Located about 320 km from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, Australia.
Put on your best walking shoes and walk the rim walk to see the highlights of the canyon.
The rim walk is a 3 hour walk, 6 kilometers long, with a moderate rating.
The most difficult part of the climb is at the beginning of the walk which is a steep ascent to the top of the rim. But after this climb the reward follows.

The palette of colors, with the red and oranges of the rocks, the green leaves on the trees and the clouds.
About halfway along is the Garden of Eden. A beautiful rockhole surrounding by rare plants. Really an oasis. Swimming is not allowed.

If you are lucky, you will see some wallabies on your way back, descending to the carpark.
Start the climb early, we started at 6 am because it can be very hot during the day.
Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a hat and off course your camera and have a great time.
