Halloween freakers in New England

in #travel7 years ago

I decided to stop in Boston to soak up some New England Halloween festivities on my way to Lisbon. The first night, my friend and I got free box seats to see RuPaul's Drag Race after sneakin into her work.  The show was incredible and I highly recommend.  Many tears were shed watchin these total babes dominate.

The evening ended at a wild dance party surrounded by ghouls in Harvard Square. Homegirl pissed on shit dressed as Elton John/John Snow who called me a bitch for using the mens bathroom.  Still outraged he sullied the name of a queer icon whilst militantly policing public bathrooms...thankful for teachable moments involving piss.

Night Two:
Classic Halloween house party. Mounds of candy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, bonfire, costumes, cauldron booze, gambling, poppers, ghoulies and freaks all night.

How was I adorned for this occasion?

Night three: Hungover hangout all goddamned day. Movies watched: Wolf (94), The Witches, The Babadook, Simpson's Treehouse of Horror, and Stranger Things. Much more candy consumed.

Night four: Graveyards, diners, books, hot cider + whisky

I'll be headed to Lisbon full of popcorn and candy corn.
