Lake Mountain - breaking routine

The realisation that organisational changes have diminished my personal investment, I now revaluate my actions and ask the question;

"Is this part of my role?"

I don't receive any extra remuneration for any additional hours or roles that I perform.
Previously, the culture was such that I, and others, felt motivated to do above and beyond our responsibilities.

So, to keep it fair, I try to break old habits.
Old habits die hard.

I follow my internal furnace.
It said, "drive"

Being the beginning of snow season, the closest mountain was only 2 hours away.

The early season is mild weather and chains aren't required in the tires, just some common sense driving.

The sunny winter's day was perfect for the impromptu walk in the snow.

Breaking routines.
Questioning my methods.
Applying reason to the rhyme.
