Daily Snippet #8
Continuing along the East-West Highway meant that navigation was easy. I just keep following the road until I need to turn left to Pokhara.
Not having to worry about this means I get to enjoy the ever improving scenery.
It’s easy to forget sometimes that when you’re cycling somewhere that this is just a normal day for the locals. They don’t know the significance of what you’re doing and you can’t understand what it’s like for them to live in a culture so vastly different to your own.
The miles are ticking by and I’ve reached the last town before entering into the Himalayas for real. A big meal and an early night are in order as I’ll be setting off at first light.
