Kangaroo for company : First stop Tasmania!
Welcome to the adventures of Olly the Kangaroo.
First stop : Tasmania.
Tasmania is the (not so) little island off the south east coast of Australia. It is known for its abundance of rainforests, colonial history and the most eye-catching sceneries. The first thing you notice as you drive across Hobart is the plain of mountains seen through the overcast sky.
It is peaceful and beautiful scenery to be a part of. The second thing you notice is how dead the city is. After spending the past few weeks living in the heart of Sydney, Hobart was quite a change of perspective.
However, we were looking for wilderness, and photo opportunities, and Tasmania definitely didn’t disappoint Olly and me.
Hiking deep into Mount Field Russell park, we came across many wild animals and the first of dozens of falls: Russell falls.
Every droplet twinkled thanks to the few steams of sunlight reaching through the vast canapé of the forest.
The next day, we decided to further stretch our legs and climb the famous Cradle mountain.
After 250m altitude , stripped of layers and many cramps all over my body, this is the view that was awaiting us:
And yes, it was all worth it.
Beautiful pictures, great work!
thank you :) !
