in #travel7 years ago

Hello everyone ,I hope you guys are doing well. After my intro , this is my first travel post .
As already i told you that i loved to explore places and i have been to many places.Today i am going to share one of my such experiences with you guys. Last december i have been to a beautiful place called ROING , which is in the Arunachal Pradesh , the neighboring state of Assam. It is the headquarter of the district Lower Diwang Valley.

As it was the month of December , winter already hit the north eastern part of India. The exams were over and the winter vacation was declared. So it was time to relax and have some fun. My cousin Manash and i were planning to go to some places for long but we were not certain about any place. One of my friends Manoj lives in Roing , who constantly called us and was asking us to visit his place. At that time he was also at my place. So finally we decided to have some fun in the beautiful town of Arunachal. As planned, In the night of 26th December, we started our bus journey from Tezpur and after the 10 long hours we reached Tinsukia, the bordering town of Assam and Arunachal . Then we again started our one hour journey by the famous bus Nirjuli to reach the Ferryghat.

And now it was the time to cross the river Brahmaputra. In the morning , it was pretty much cold out there. I was about to experience my first ever ferry journey and i was very happy. It was the first one for manash too.

After the long hectic journey , we reached his home. We were amazed by the beauty of this town and i was already in love with this beautiful place. His parents greeted in our traditional Nepali way but we didn't get a chance to click a photo. As we were very much tired , we took rest the entire day.

It was the mid of winter season so i found that the weather there was very cold as compared to my native place (Assam). In the evening we went to the famous Roing market. In a local restaurant Manash and Manoj had a local dish named Thukpa . Though it was a tasty dish (they told me) i didn't eat that.

Early next morning, we had a walk through Roing town, but we couldn't see any of it as the place was totally covered with fog. After a couple of hours , we visited the Tezu pass. We had been roaming here and there for couple of hours.

After we returned , we had a lovely breakfast specially prepared for us by Manoj's mother. The food was really tasty.
There is a river named Deopani that flows between the Roing town and the Mishmi hills. It is about 2 miles from the town.Next day after having breakfast we walked through the town to the river Deopani. The view there was spectacular and the water was icy cold. We were mesmerized by the beautiful view. A cool breeze touched our cheeks and neck.It was refreshing. The river was full of giant rocks. We spent 3-4 hours there and enjoyed a lot.

After spending a couple of hours, we came back home and had our lunch. Then we slept for three hours because we were exhausted. Waking up in the evening , we had a walk through the Roing market again and soon we came back to my friend's home.

So guys that's all for this blog. If i would have to describe everything in this blog , it would be a huge one and you would find it boring. Hope you're not bored. I will be continuing this in my next blog.

Stay tuned.
Thank you for reading and take care.
