The world has so much to offer and even after four years of traveling I only saw 13% of the globe! My biggest problem is to find a way in which I travel an earn money at the same time, so if you have any suggestions they are welcome.
But me trying to travel more is not what this post is about, this post is about the best travel destinations to go to in April! This post take will take you to England, Australia, the USA and Thailand.

Marbles
Who did not play marbles as a kid? I know I did on primary school, trying to beat the other kids and het the biggest collection! It was so much fun, if you were winning that is. There are many ways the game of marbles in been played. During the World Marble Championships they place 49 marbles in a ring and the first person that knocks out 25 of the other wins and goes to the next round!
So if you want to see if you still have your childhood skill level head over to Sussex in England on the 30th of March! Do you have what it takes to win?
It’s very easy to go there, located close to Gatwick Airport! And don’t worry there is plenty of alcohol to get over your loss.

Tree climbing
If you don’t want to be on knees all day playing with marbles, what about tree climbing? Like playing with marbles as a kid we all climb a tree one day, so if you still want to relive your childhood, this is an event you will for sure enjoy.
When I was a kid a maybe went up a few meters but head over to Pemberton in Western Australia and there are trees of 90m tall waiting for you! April is the best month to go because it’s the least windy, that will be useful once you are high up!

It all started years ago when a few trees were picked as lookout trees for the firefighters, they build platforms at the tops of the tries in order to see were potential fires were spreading. Today a few trees are selected to ascend them, so if you dare there is a real nice view waiting for you!

Water fight!
This month’s best destination to travel to really wake up the kid in me again, after Marbles and tree climbing, you can enjoy a big water fight as well!
World’s biggest water fight is hosted in Thailand when they celebrate the Thai new year.
Songkran is an occasion when images of the Buddha are bathed and young Thais seek the blessing of their elders by pouring scented water over their heads, but by now it has evolved to an crazy fun and big water fight! For three days nobody is safe but it’s great to cool off in the hot Thai weather!
So for all the travelers that are in Thailand between 13-15 April you are in for a treed! The celebration is off course held nationwide but is best celebrated in Chiang Mia!

Jazz in New Orleans
Where else can you go for a fun Jazz festival? It must be New Orleans. In the last weekend of April and the First weekend of May there are more than ten stages waiting for you! The festival first started in 1968 and even had big names preforming like Louis Armstrong and Dave Brubeck. Nowadays the event is even bigger and does not stop after the festival stops late at night, just continue your fun in the French Quarter!
