I looks like you have had a wonderful hike. Nothing is better than a ice-cold beer after hard work. One day I hope for hiking somewhere in the european mountain. Italy I have thought of, but there are probably many interesting places.
There are some great hikes along the alps and I hear good things about Italy. As for the cold beer, you are very correct!
