RE: Canadian Rockies: Change of plans, Kananaskis day 3

in #travel6 years ago

Thank you once again for inviting us to tag along. When you wrote about how big the landscape truly is it took be back to the few times I was out West and truly amazing how big it all is or perhaps how truly small we are.

I also remember the "air", how clean and light i.e. zero humidity. Also I recall how quiet it is with no back noise of engines and motors etc and how loud it is with the sounds of nature.

Great writing can, for the reader, invoke a memory, so with that said "great writing."

awwe you're too sweet!! Yes the air is very clean, the difference is noticeable right away. Overall in the west, the air is really dry, we don't get much for precipitation both in summer and winter. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet in Kananaskis, made it hard to get back to real life once in the city. I'm glad I was able to bring back happy memories for you!! It's hard to grasp the size of everything in the mountains, I go regularly and I'm still amazed every time.
