Mongolia is simply amazing!

Hellllo ! What come to your mind when someone mention about Mongolia? Genghis Khan? Grassland? Desert? I am sure Mongolia would be much much much more amazing than you imagine.
July and August would be the peak season for travelling in Mongolia because of the Naadam, a traditional festival in Mongolia. It would be nice to enjoy watching games like Mongolian wrestling and experience a lively Mongolia at that time.
But the following will show you another style of Mongolia, a peaceful and quiet Mongolia.
There would be some tips for travellers who are planning their trips to Mongolia as well.
You cannot miss the Gobi desert!

If you visit Gobi in off peak season, it makes you feel like the desert is as quiet as if the only things exist in the world are you and the desert.
The desert looks easy to climb on, right? In fact, it took me about one hour to climb up, given that the height of desert hill is about 200 meters and 15 minutes (or even less) to roll down. Be prepared for this. Otherwise sand would go into your clothes, your hair and even your stomach. So, don’t open your month when you were rolling down, although it is really fun and you would want to laugh, hahahahaha.

Tips: Tours to desert can be booked in advance on website. If you are lucky enough, you may be able to get a special discount in off peak season. For example, we have spent 250USD/person for the tour in Gobi desert for 4 days, including a tour guide, an experienced driver and his car. It usually involves staying in a Mongolian yurt.

(Dalanzadgad is a small town near Gobi desert.)
Even in summer, Mongolia could have low temperature at night. Don’t forget to bring yourself a sleeping bag or a bottle of vodka to keep you warm.
Also, it is better not to expect a proper washroom in Gobi Desert, not to mention a shower room. I would say it would be a good chance to experience the local Mongolian lifestyle, hahahahaha.!
Enjoy the sunset in Mongolia with sheep.

The Mongolian yurt we stayed in. This kind of yurt could accommodate four guests. The special structure and material used to build the yurt could allow Mongolian to withstand the cold weather at night or even in winter (in the old times). Due to the dramatic change in temperature, some Mongolian may have migration twice a year, bringing along their Mongolian yurt.
If the sky is clear enough at night, you may be able to see the breathe-taking scene of the sky full of star. The moment is difficult to be expressed by photo. You must be there to experience that touching moment personally then you would understand.

Another incredible thing of Mongolia is that, one second you may find yourself in a yellowish world full of sand and the next second, you would discover a brand-new style of view. Peaceful is the only word I could find to describe the scenery.
Mongolia is a not yet well-developed in tourism, that’s why Mongolia could give you a feeling of adventure. You could be so close to the nature and live like going back to the old time when human are deeply connected to nature.

Travellers, it is time to start planning your adventure in Mongolia!
