Vaccine

Vaccine 💉 is hot is a hot topic these days as we approach the end of the infamously crazy 2020 that effected ALL of us around the world. Should everyone take it? is it the best approach towards health? Is there a better way? Here are some of my own thoughts, insights and my personal experience revolving the COVID-19 pandemic.

In February 2020 my parents, in their early 70's had a long-awaited scheduled vacation to Poland.

COVID was just emerging back then and many doubted the wide spread effects that it will have on people's lives, health and travel. Many even called it a haux claiming it's like the flu and will go away "like a miracle".

Searching for truth through the mounting amounts of disinformation that began flooding the media back then, I found this article of the first scientific research done in China, back then the only country that have been severely effected and had to shut down. The media was full of conspiracy and it wasn't easy to find a source of truth. Science to the rescue, I found some facts:

I called my parents that night and begged them not to fly. They said it's already paid and Poland is not effected at all. I kept begging. Mom said she is bored and needs a vacation. It was very easy to underestimate the threat at the time because of the manipulation that was happening in the media. Political and economical powers were actively ignoring and dismissing the warnings that came from the scientific community. Europe didn't seem to have had any impact at the time but scientific evidence showed it takes the virus 3 weeks to manifest in the ICU's and mortality rates. Thankfully, the next day my parents called me and said they will take my advice and cancel their trip. After a sleepless night, I was relieved.

3 weeks later, Europe became massively effected. Hospitals were flooded. Travel banned. Widespread locks downs. Mass graves of elderly people that got infected and did not survive. People buried with no hugs, no farewell, not even able to see to their loved ones before they depart from this world.

I made a video for my parents back then to compensate them for having to give up travel. I believe the best approach towards health is through constant strengthening of the immune system. The statistics clearly showed back then that children were hardly effected. How come? I asked myself 🤔

I believe the answer is linked with learning. Children are like sponge. Everything is a new experience for them. Everything is a learning experience for them. The immune system is part of it. Their bodies constantly practice learning and their immune system takes part in that process. It's keeps training everyday therefore maintaining its "good shape". Just like learning makes us able to cope with new ideas, learning new moves and engaging in new motion with our bodies works the same way. It puts our mental and physical body in a learning mode and the immune system is an integral part our physical body. They are all linked together. Separated by function yet operate as one. Engaging in new movements induces learning on other parts of the body as well, including our immune system. Inducing learning mode on our immune system enables it to learn how to deal with new threats just like it did when we were children getting infected by the flu for the first time in our lives. It makes it stronger and that explains how for children COVID-19 is just another virus their immune system needs to learn to defend from. Not deadly and does not have any long term health effects.

I sent the following video I share with you today to my parents and told them they shouldn't be bored at home and can transition from finding satisfaction in exploring new places around the world to exploring their own body through playing, moving and dancing in new ways all while strengthening their immune system against new viruses.

Why do people feel the need to travel every now and then anyways? 🤔

Travel is a stimulating experience for all our sensors as everything around us suddenly becomes new. The surroundings, the language, the sounds, the smells the tastes. It all new to us, induces learning and provides satisfaction as a new experience was learned. Every new summit conquered is an achievement and that produces satisfaction. Movement exploration has a similar effect. Put on new music you never heard before. Move to it. See where it takes you. The possibilities in movement are endless and so are the benefits. The discovery process is fun just as traveling is and the satisfaction is guaranteed with every new move you will learn.

I decided to share the vaccine video I sent to my parents back in February with everyone else who are looking to have fun at home while travel is restricted and looking to strengthened their and immune system through movement. I hope it inspire more people to take on this journey of movement exploration and help healing the world from the plague that took over it.
