Dreaming of Sicily

I've been lucky enough to travel to lots of beautiful, interesting places, but if I were to move to another country, I think it would have to be Italy or Sicily.

Things I loved about Sicily...

GELATO - it has to be pistachio, every time, but all of it was delicious (tried it ALL to make sure)...

THE BEACH, the sea, the views. I didn't take enough pictures. Mainly because I was worried about dropping my phone in the sea, or losing it on the beach (I'm very clumsy and have lost and broken a few phones!) but the water was gorgeous, the beaches beautiful, and I grew up living by the sea so it always feels like home to be beside it...

THE FOOD. Yes, Gelato is food, but we also had some gorgeous meals. Fresh fish, seafood, pasta and pizza (with plenty of red wine and coffee becauae obviously you've got to get in that holiday mode!) I didn't take many pictures of the food, so here's one of me dancing in the street instead...

Time to unwind. Ok, this would be true of any holiday, but it was just such a chilled atmosphere everywhere and the locals were lovely, friendly and welcoming, it made it easy to relax...

Can I go back tomorrow please?!?!
