Travelling 1000 km through Germany to visit my family

in #travel7 years ago

Hey lovely Steemians,

this will be a pretty short post today (but with a lot of photos) as I am with my family at the moment which I haven't seen in one year. And as it's my first full day after arriving yesterday afternoon, there are a lot of things to talk about, a lot of people to hug and a lot of beautiful moments to create.

So if I don't answer all your amazing comments, which I appreciate and love so much, it's not because I don't care. I read them everyday and I am super happy to have you here and read your wonderful messages. If I might anser only in a few words or pretty late, it's because of the time with my family (19. April to 07. May) which is so precious to me. I hope you don't mind :)

I live in Northern Germany and my family in Southern Germany. 1000 km apart. So it's a travel of (depending on the connection) 9 to 15 hours to visit my loved ones. And yesterday finally was one of these special days when I travelled through the whole country to visit them and spend some time with all the people I missed so much.

But before I go and visit some more of them later, I just wanted to share some ipressions of my yesterday's journey with you and keep that amazing adventure and the changing landscape from flat to full of mountains in my mind.

I took the Bus for the first part of the journey and for the main part a so called "IC" train, which is pretty fast.

Here is what mother earth showed me through the windows and the reasons why I love travelling by bus and train and just daydream.

A last shot before I arrive in Freiburg and see my family again after one year! So excited and happy!!!

Here are my songs of the day I listened to a lot while sitting in the train and looking out the window

I hope you all have a wonderful time and a lot of loved people around you to create magical moments to remember forever!

Much love and good vibes 💖

It's a nice feeling to be around one's family and by the way, you've got pretty pictures captured on your camera.

Cheers 😆

Absolutely! :)

I just love the time with my loved ones! :) <3

Aaaaw thank you very much for your lovely message! :)

How are you doing my dear friend? :)

A very big hug and much love and good vibes to you <3

Gute Reise :)

Vielen Dank! :)

I enjoy seeing your German countryside! Thanks for posting these photos from your journey!

I wanted to let you know that my magazine interview has been published. I was the only visual artist in the issue, the others being writers, so they used over 25 of my works, plus the cover and an interview! I'm very happy about it. Plus it was free, not a pay for play scam.

Here is the link to my post about it, with a link to the PDF: https://steemit.com/art/@sphericalart/i-m-interviewed-in-the-latest-issue-of-doorway-to-art-and-that-s-my-cover-art

Hello my dear @sphericalart! :)
