Disney Disney Disney!
Yay we've headed back to Disney! Lol Is it too soon? Heck no! I was originally going to make this a multi part post like last time, but i thought it was too much lol. I’ll try to keep it in either two or three posts, we’ll see though lol. I want to mainly share some of the new stuff we did along with some rides that we tried. Keep reading if you want to find out what we did on this trip!
So we started our with the drive to Indianapolis international Airport, because I was not going to be making that 12 drive this time around! Not that I don't like a road trip but it gets tiring to drive all the time. We had to do a small stop over in NYC! But not the nice airport. We stopped at LaGuardia, they don't even have a Starbucks..So I couldn't get my YAH mug that I collect. Just gonna have to actually go back to New York City one day.
We made it to Orlando in the afternoon around 5pm. So because we were staying at the Disney All Star Movies resort, Disney offers a free shuttle service to those staying on Disney property. Which trust me is great! Especially if you're only planning to go to the parks or Disney Springs. There is a designated person that picks up your luggage and delivers it straight to your room! I mean how great is that. You can just go straight to the parks if you like. We had to go to the hotel to work out an issue with our room. But once that got worked out we headed to Animal Kingdom to use the fastpass that I had set up incase we had time that night. We got to do one out of the two new rides at Pandora - The World of Avatar. Sadly we didnt get to do the Flight of Passage but we did get to do the Na’vi River Journey. With it being a slow ride it’s perfect if you want to just relax and be able to go on with kids.
After the right after the ride we headed over to one of the shops that sells Limited Edition pins to see if they had some of the ones I wanted to pick up. And they did! [I may do a separate post about what I picked up from this trip. We’ll see.] since the park was closing not long after doing the ride and going to the shop we headed out to Disney Springs to get some food. We were both starving. Lol Once we got there we checked out what restaurants were there and decided on a place called “Polite Pig’. It's this BBQ place. Eric really wanted to eat there. Wh got a platter called “Butcher Board”, which worked great because it was more than enough for 2 people. It came with jalapeno cornbread [SO good], smoked chicken, some ribs, pork shoulder, sweet potato tots, corn, and coleslaw. Oh and we also got some cake, Orange Blossom Honey Cake.
We walked around Disney Springs for alittle bit just to look around, but we were getting very worn out lol so we decided to then head back to the hotel to wind down and go to bed.
Fast forward to the next day, Hello Magic Kingdom! Since we were heading out to Magic Kindgom for the first full day here, we made a reservation at Ohana restaurant which is located right next to Magic Kingdom. This was an all you care to enjoy character dining meal but you don’t have to get up and get the food is brought to you on this platter. But while waiting to be seated we were approached by the DVC (Disney Vacation Club), it's pretty much timeshares the disney version.
Back to the food! I really wish that I had taken a picture of what it all looked like but I was hungry and just dove right in. lol. On the platter was mickey and stitch shaped waffles, eggs, breakfast potatoes, and bacon/sausage. Oh we also had some fruit and this sweet bread with pineapple and coconut in it (it was very tasty). There was also this amazing juice that comes with the meal, it is a combination of passionfruit, orange, and guava. I can drink that stuff everyday! Since this is a character meal, it wouldn't be complete without meeting them. Lilo and Stitch came to say aloha to us. Same goes for Mickey and making his appearance with his Hawaiian shirt. He’s ready to just lei down. (get it lei, lol) For those who may not know, the lei is a garland typically made with flowers and is given when arriving or leaving as a symbol of affection.
Lastly after you finish eating you get to meet Goofy too!
Time to head to the parks! Our first ride at MK is Peter Pan's flight. This ride is one of of many popular rides at this park, we were lucky to catch a fastpass for this ride. The ride is described as a dark ride with small drops, but they forget to mention is a slow ride so there aren't actual drops, just that the ride goes up and down. This ride was really cool, for those who have watched Peter Pan you know that Peter flies all over London. Well this ride makes it look like just that, like you're soaring through London, Neverland, and around Captain Hooks ship! Because of it being a dark ride my pictures didn’t turn out very well so I’ll share a picture from the disney website.
Here is one of us on the ride though! :)
We had some time between our fast passes so we got a Dole whip float to share!
We made our way to the fire station at the front of Magic Kingdom to get some more Sorcerers Cards so that we can continue our quest! I ended up trading with a little girl who wanted to make a trade. She was so cute and brave for asking me! We actually ran into the same family at another post and she asked me if I have any doubles to trade[ not realizing that she's already asked me] I was going to trade with her regardless. Lol Too cute!
Time for the next fast pass! What is it going to be? Ding Ding Ding.. Space Mountain! I won’t lie but I was nervous about this ride lol. But I did it and survived! It was really cool. It’s a very dark ride and made to look like you're in space once you’re shot into “space, with the stars lit up gah it was really good. This ride actually takes your picture but since eric and I were in 2 seperate cars but attached we showed up on seperate pictures. Here they are though. Lol Don’t we look goofy. Haha

The ride I was waiting to do for a long time was coming up next. I was super excited but nervous. Lol What baffles me is that you can be standing next to this ride, and if it wasn’t for the people screaming on it you wouldn’t know the ride was there because it is so silent. It’s a very smooth ride though and I LOVED it. I definitely want to be able to ride it again when we go back.
This concluded our day at Magic Kingdom, off to Epcot to finish the night off.
Hello Epcot!
When we got here we checked to see what the wait times were like for some of the rides and saw that Spaceship Earth was a 5 minute wait so we went for that. It was literally less than 5 minutes. Lol This one was really cool it talks about the history of technology. Next we headed out to the World Showcase and went to Mexico! We did the Gran Fiesta Tour starring The Three Caballeros! The Mexican Pavilion is very neat how it is all set up.
This concludes the first day full day here at Disney World. Stay tuned for the next post where we head out to Epcot again but this time for the Flower and Garden Festival!
Hope you all enjoyed! Below are a couple more pictures from the day.
Thanks for reading!
