Buenas a todos otra vez!
en este corto anexo del capitulo anterior (si no lo viste lo podes ver en mi blog) voy a hablar un poco mas de
Deir el-bahari
Me parecio interesante recalcar la importancia que tenian los templos funerarios para la antigua cultura egipcia
El Deir el-bahari contienen los templos funerarios de 3 faraones egipcios asi como varias otras tumbas y altares conmemorativos
Amplias terrazas, con edificios porticados y patio de columnas, en perfecta armonía de proporciones que se integran perfectamente en las laderas de la montaña
Valle de reyes y valle de reinas 🐈
Tal vez la apreciación mas certera en la actualidad sea la de un gran complejo de tumbas en los valles del lado oriental del rio nilo, pero parece increíble que en la conocida por los egipcios como Ta-sekhet-ma'at (Gran Campo) se hayan encontrado 65 tumbas de la casi todos los faraones del imperio, asi como el de algunos principes y reinas. Y 95 tumbas en el valle de reinas, prácticamente todas de esposas e hijas de faraones, así como también el de algunos príncipes en un complejo entramado de cuevas y tuneles, lleno de ilustraciones y hasta trampas... 🐈
Se imaginan si el epicentro de nuestras ciudades fuera un cementerio..?
sin duda la humanidad a cambiado mucho! o tal vez no tanto...

Deir el-bahari

The Deir el-bahari contains the funerary temples of 3 Egyptian pharaohs as well as several other tombs and memorial altars
Spacious terraces, with arcaded buildings and courtyard columns, in perfect harmony of proportions that integrate perfectly into the slopes of the mountain
Valle de reyes y valle de reinas 🐈
Perhaps the most accurate appreciation at present is that of a large complex of tombs in the valleys on the eastern side of the river Nile, but it seems incredible that in the one known by the Egyptians as Ta-sekhet-ma' at (Grand Field) 65 tombs have been found in almost all the pharaohs of the empire, as well as that of some princes and queens. And 95 tombs in the valley of queens, practically all of them wives and daughters of pharaohs, as well as some princes in a complex network of caves and tunnels, full of illustrations and even traps.... 🐈
Can you imagine if the epicentre of our cities was a graveyard...?
