Banff National Park - Sunset at Lake Minnewanka
This glacial lake is located in the popular Banff National Park. With a length of 21 km Lake Minnewanka is really huge compared to other lakes in the canadian rockies. You can rent boats or hike along the shore. It's a great location to watch the sun set behind the mountains...

During the day the parking lot fills up quickly but in the evening almost no people are around anymore. Here you can see the pier and the boat house. It is already closed...
