Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir: Why to Visit Once in Life

Dear my audience, today i am going to write about my state which is popularly known as " Paradise on Earth", " the Switzerland of Asia" etc is famous all over the world for the enchanting beauty, the nature has liberally bestowed on it.

In this article, i will cover all the three regions of the state Jammu and Kashmir.Rightly called the Crown of the Indian Union, the state consists of three regions: Jammu , the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh. Jammu and Kashmir is the only state in India which has two capital cities. Srinagar in thensummer and Jammu in the winter.
The Kashmir Valley is famous for its beautiful mountains landscape , while as Jammu's numerous shrines attract tens of thousands of piligrims every year. Ladakh , also known as "little tibet" is famous for its remote mountain beauty and Buddhist culture.

Jammu and Kashmir attracts lakhs of tourists every year with its mesmerising and enchanting beauty. The state has large number of lakes, rivers and mountain ranges which are known all over the world for its beauty. Specially in this article i will cover the details about the famous "Moon Land" that is Leh Ladakh in order to make you known about this beautiful place which is worth to visit.
Dear friends , the climate of Ladakh region is very dry and cold. Here the winter temperature is extremely low, which sometimes fall even below -40 degree celcius. Drass in Ladakh region is the coldest place. In july the temperature of this region may go up to 25 degree celsius. For about nine months in the year, from September to May the night temperature remains sub - zero. In January 1986 the coldest temperature of minus 48 degree Celsius was recorded at Drass.

The Ladakh skies are very clear and the average rainfall is very low about 20 cm per year. Most of the precipitation is received in the month of January , March and August. Snowfall is recorded during winter. Due to rarified atmosphere the sunburns are very common and breathlessness causes a great trouble in Ladakh.
Dear friends if you want to visit this paradise , i recommend April to July are the best months to visit this paradise and enjoy the natural beauty of this particular place. The people of this paradise are very generous, soft hearted and very helpful. This paradise is the only place in India which is crime free against tourists , even a small girl can visit this paradise alone without fear , because people are loving and more loving.
