Mata Vaishno Devi: Journey of Katra, Jammu Travel Guide Part-1

Friends in this Travel Guide Series, I will try to share my own experience about the best places in India, where I visited ever.

I am passionate to visit more and more different places in India and abroad to see the beautiful creation of Nature. But it became more than two years, when I visited any Beautiful place in India.
And I hope soon I will get change to visit new place.

So here I'm sharing my past Experience of those visits.

And I'm going to Start this Travel Guide Series with "Mata Vaishno Devi" Darshan, Katra, Jammu.

Mata Vaishno Devi Temple..

This is the old and Natural Cave of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Trikuta Hills.

So, Friends I visited Mata Vaishno Devi Temple in 2016 in Navratri Month of April for Darshan. And Most of visiters want to visit in Navaratri month.

Now I comes to the details about Travel Guide.
If you wants to Visit Mata Vaishno Devi then there is two option for you.

1. By train, Nearest Railway Station, Katra Station.
2. By Aeroplane, Nearest Airport, Jammu Airport.

This is one of the Best Railway Station in India and opend for Public on July 4, 2014.
So, If you want to visit MATA Vaishno Devi by Train so You can take a train form any Major of India.
But there are more than 10 direct Trains from Delhi. So You can take any Train from Delhi.

But you want to visit Mata Vaishno Devi By Air then nearest Airport is Jammu Airport and you have to Hire a Cab for further travels because Jammu airport is around 65 KM away from Katra.

Once you reach at Katra, Then either you can take a Helicopter for Main Shrine Board or you can visit by walking.
There is about 10-12 KM distance between Karta and Mata Vaishno Devi main Shrine Board.

So If you want to Visit For Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan.
So according to me there is about INR 5K to INR 15K ($95 to $275) is enough for a person (Including Jammu visit) for 2-3 night.

You can Stay In Hotel Grand Sharan, near new Bus Stand katra for a night.
