My trip to Aroa the lost town, a natural wonder in Venezuela.

in #travel6 years ago (edited)

Howdy my dear folks from Steemit!

I was a little bit depressed and stressed these days, so I decided to take a little vacation.

I was talking to my friend @yusaymon to give ourselves a vacation, we called my dad to prepare a
our rooms at the hostel and let this incredible journey begin.

We rented 2 cabs for 8 people, among this people was my girlfriend @fabigamboa93, @isabelart, @morinjesus and other friends.

Choroni, here we go, Aroa is located nearby Choroni, another wonderful town located in front of our beautiful caribbean sea!

This is the beginning of the road to Aroa's secret beach, 10 km from civilization, ther is no power service, or internet in this town the road through the mountain is so beautiful, it mixes a xerophyle flora with tropical jungle.

A shot from the top of the mountain

We got lost, and we accidentally found this place, this little beach is full of rocks, its not recommendable to swim in that water, you can get hit by a rock.

Just beautiful!

Finally we are near! you can hear the sound of the waves from this point of the road, this walk through the mountain is not easy, but the reward is priceless

We're almost there!

@morinjesus, @yusaymon and @fabigamboa93, finally we arrived!

DSCN4724.JPG!

People that lives in this place build their houses with wood they cut in the forest, there is no electricity and no water service here, they drink from the river because it is very clean, they fish and raise cattle, they're 10 km far from civilization, this seems very interesting to me, it has to be very difficult to live without electricity, but people seems to be happy, that makes me think that life is more simple than we think.

Population is no more than 50, everyone knows each other, they're like a big family, this is how houses looks like.

What can I say? This is a paradise, the road its difficult but it worths all the effort for been here, a virgin land.

Aroa is one of the most wonderful places I've ever been, the river meets the sea, and the forest meets the beach, it's just wonderful, I hope that the population never grows and this place remains always virgin, no crime, no noise pollution, clean air, clean water, far away from the harsh reality of cities in Venezuela, this journey was very relaxing for me, I just wanted to get out for some days from this concrete jungle, nature is where we belong.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and take a look at the photographs, all places in Venezuela are not ugly or dangerous places, we also have incredible natural wonders like this, thanks to my friends @yusaymon, @morinjesus, my beautiful @fabigamboa93, @isabelart, my dad @posadaeloasis, and the other ones who joined us into this trip.

Thanks for reading!

Alberto Alarcón.

Thanks to you, brother. Hope to travel together again soon!

Hi, came here a @yusaymon resteem :-)

Seems like a few others have taken time offline to recharge and reconnect physically.

I'll be doing so in a couple of weeks, although not totally - merely leaving the city will be good enough.
