A Well-Spent Sunday

Sundays are usually spent for relaxing, bonding with our families or merely just taking that time for yourself to reflect on things. For this Sunday, I chose to spend it in a highland resort together with my friends. We were all craving for some adventure so we decided to go to Damires Hills Tierra Verde Farm Resort in Janiuay, Iloilo.

As we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the soft breeze and the calming view of nature.

After eating lunch, we then proceeded to the Canopy Walk.

We had to climb a series of steps just to reach the hanging bridge. I must admit, it did give us a bit of a challenge.

After that tiring trek, we just chilled for a bit. My 2 other friends decided to stay put and just enjoy the view so it was just me and my bestfriend who went with the ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) adventure.

ATV riding had been such a great experience. It was so much fun passing through the muddy trail. Aside from the trek, ATV adventure and their swimming pools, this resort also has a Zip-line and rooms wherein guests could stay overnight or even for a couple more days. As for us, although it had only been a day trip, we really had a great time here and we could say that we had a well-spent Sunday.
