Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:

If you go to visit Kost Castle, you can not miss the Plakánek Valley, which is adjacent to the castle. It is one of the most beautiful valleys of the Bohemian Paradise and perhaps one of the most beautiful in the whole Czech Republic.

I rewarded @softa entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Teplice Rock towns really breathtaking, the environment is maintained. The ticket is valid for the whole day. It is better to go in the morning - for parking (free parking). Also suitable for less mobile, elderly people (except the Salt section "Lovers" - there are enough stairs). The duration of the tour is about 2-3 hours - we had a set in 1.5 hours without boat rides (it was cold, only 4 degrees). We enjoyed it despite the dreadful winter.

What a great post to carry on with some unspoiled Czech nature that we started off yesterday. Well done!

Bezruc´s School, one of the most important architectural landmarks of the Silesian city of Frydek-Mistek. Located at the confluence of two rivers Ostravice and Moravka in the foothills of the Beskydy Mountains near the Polish and Slovakian borders, the city is home to over 55,000 people.

I was on my way to Sedlcany yesterday morning, and since it was before sunrise, I stopped at the windmill ruin. The remains of the building are above the village called Příčany. This place is ideal for watching sunrise because it lies on a hill. And it is beautifully seen in the surrounding waved landscape. Yesterday it was special, because the mist lay in the valleys and the autumn colors on the trees.

Good day. Visited Cesky Krumlov and did not regret. Really reminds Prague. Beautiful, especially the views of the historical center from above. It is a pity that the tour allowed in the city only 4 hours. In Cesky Krumlov you need to come for at least 2 days to see the city at night. And it is better for five days to inspect everything.

I took this picture in the park of Visehrad Castle in Prague, immediately after seeing the beautiful façade of the Church of St. Peter and Paul. This small door that opens onto a small terrace overlooking the Vltava, almost seems to lead into an enchanted world.

Architecturally stunning, victim of it's own success
The Old Town Square is on everyone's list of must see in Prague, and any time you go there, it can feel like everyone else has had the same idea. It is SO busy with so many people, even during what I would call off peak season. The area itself cannot be faulted and it's understandable why it gets so busy. But having seen it, take yourself out of the centre and explore, Karliń is maybe a 30 minute walk and is one of the prettiest, and quiet areas of Prague.

New Water Mill tower, Prag, New Town, street Nové mlýny

This tower is the third in the same place. It was built in 1660. It is easy to see how the towers once used to be the highlight of the city. Since the 19th century, it has been absorbing the construction of high-rise houses.
The tower features an interesting exhibition about Prague's fires and the history of firefighters.

Amazing spot to begin your exploration of Prague. It has the Astronomical Clock, St. Nicholas Church, Tyn Church, Jan Hus Memorial and more. I recommend taking the free Sandeman tour which leaves from here as well to learn of the history of what you're looking at as well as get a wonderful walk and story of the rest of Prague.
