Sunset Koh Larn. I took this picture about 2 weeks ago on the Ferry ride back to Pattaya from Koh Larn. The sea was quiet and the light was beautiful as the sun was going down.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #61 - winner announcement!

@vinceboisgard Australian Monday entry:

Night walk around the Darling Harbour, while Sydney city sleeps it is good to walk around the place. Enjoying the calm of the night to rediscover the place shining under bright new light is very peaceful and beautiful. I would definitely recommend spending some time there to anyone.

This apocalyptic photo was taken on my favourite beach in Mexico - the Xpuha Beach aka heaven on Earth. It is a remote and beautiful beach with deep white powder sand, crystalline waters with rich marine life. Still relatively unknown, it is a tranquil beach with few people.

Wow, that is an epic photo. Well done!

Beautiful isolated beach with no people found just outside of our current home in northwestern Yucatan, Mexico. The water might not be as clear and turquoise as it is, for example, in Cancun, but I really appreciate the absence of the crowds :)

Love your new home, looks so calm. We just got our first snow yesterday:)

Thanks Tomas! I know about the first snow in our homeland, my FB feed was flooded with snowy photos yesterday :D

Drone picture shows beach in Indonesia. The Indian Ocean is the third largest of the world´s oceanic divisions and I´m sure he has many many beautiful beaches all over the world. This picture was taken on the wild surfing beach of Uluwatu which is famous for fish specialities and big surf challenges.

It is just amazing and fascinating at the same time what can be done and achieved with the use of technology. Have a good one.

Sunrise at Friendly Beaches

Could there be a more friendly name for a beach? The campground at Friendly Beaches was my base for exploring the Freycinet peninsula on my bicycle trip through Tasmania. I got up early to see this beautiful sunrise just metres from my camping spot!

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

I want to be there right now! We just got our first snow yesterday.

I was in Japan last week, quite cold there as well! Happy to be back in Taiwan now, 20-25 degrees isn't that bad

Wave breaking in the Mediterranean sea. In the distance, you can see the 'Calanque' of Marseille as well as the 'Maïre' islands. It was a blue day, windy and cold, but the sun was shining bright.

Love those different shades of blue.

Everything looks so small from above… We had a clear sky before landing in the Dominican Republic and I took the opportunity to immortalize the moment. I miss hot and sunny days as winter slowly quietly settles.

Thank you so much for your submission. Have a good one!

Shorncliffe, Brisbane - Australia

Shorncliffe beach is a 5 minute drive from my house. The water is very calm here so there is always kite surfers here on weekends. There is a great board walk that runs along the beach, and some really good fish and chip shops.

Thank you so much for your participation. Have a great day!

The Melting Ice

Warmly colorful, but actually damn cold sunset at the coast of Baltic Sea nearby Klaipeda, Lithuania. Very calm weather without any wind. A lot of ice (smaller and bigger pieces) just floating near the coastline making pretty unusual surface and reflecting the colors of sunset

Enjoy it!

Magical Light

The coast in Oregon is cast in a pink and orange hue with the sun sinking below the horizon. Always teeming with life, these sea birds flew up and down the coast always on the lookout for their next meal.

Thank you so much for this image.... the colors are just so different..... not just the usual photograph... Have a great day.

Down by the sea, I found this home made gantry. The ocean created the erosion and yet it still standing there, adding some kind of a charm to the beach! To me it is a great thing to construct images, to others another thing that's polluting the beach.
