Myvatn geothermal fields. The earth is boiling in Iceland. It's so incredible to visit this volcanic island. Heat for free whereever you go. Near Lake Myvatn is a really active geothermal area. You can visit Namafjall with the mud bubble pools, where the image was taken, climb the Viti Crater, take a swim in the natural bath or check out the Dummoborgir Lava Fields. But be aware of the sulphur smell ;)

The Humboldt hotel is a jewel of the Venezuelan architecture of the 50’s. It is at the top of El Ávila a mountain of more than 2100 meters above sea level. For more than 30 years it has not been in used. From the engineering point of view it is very interesting, because the cylindric shape is supported in a central column. Its construction was a challenge due to its remote location.
I spotted this colony of sea lions in the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve in Chile. This reserve is located in the Pacific Ocean north of La Serena, the southern gate of the Atacama region. It's not easy to get a steady shot from the shaking boat as a result of the heavy wind at the sea, but I was very excited to see these fellows so close-by in the wild. :)
Surreal landscape in Bolivia
The landscape in Southern Bolivia is absolutely crazy: Within a few hundred kilometres, the worlds largest salt lake, snow-capped volcanoes, volcanic hot springs and surreal landscapes such as this one can be found.

In Colombia, the Nemocon salt mine is less known than the famous Zipaquira salt cathedral. However, you'll have a more intimate visit.
The photo shows a natural mirror made of salted water.
These moai on Easter Island, lay just next to the volcanic mountain that they were carved out of. There is so many of these statues that never made it to their desired place on the island. They either fell over while moving them or they broke in the move. Now over the years the sand has covered these Moai up to thier necks. It is such an amazing island to visit
This image is of the beach La Restinga on the island of Margarita in the Caribbean Sea, it is a beach of 22 km with shells of mollusks like sand and it is an almost virgin beach that can be enjoyed almost for you alone ... my wife loves to walk by it and collect marine objects, I almost have several boxes of them at home ...
At the end of the XVIIe century began the construction of the Jesuit Missions in Bolivia. They are located in the Chiquitos region, north of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Here is the first mission to be founded; Misión of San Francisco Xavier, in 1691.

Drone photo from Patagonia
Here is a personal drone photo from Patagonia from the border of Argentina and Chile. Taken just before the big snows fall, still lots of brown grass from the summer but the shadows are growing and the views from above are always best! Enjoy!
