It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge of Australian Monday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The amount of entries this time was pretty good with some amazing images submitted.

The Great Ocean Road is one of the top 5 places to visite in Autralia and it really is not hard to see why. :) These are two of the Twelve Apostles, soft limestone pillars formed by erosion from the Southern Ocean. They are called the 12 Apostles but there were never 12 only 9 at the beginning and since one collapsed in 2005 only 8 remain.

This is a view from Kawah Ijen, a volcano located near Banyuwangi in Indonesia. After I climbed to the top and went down into the crater during the night. This was the view I had on my way down as the sun had just rised. Sulfur smokes and fog, other volcanoes and dead trees still standing on the edge of the volcano.

The winner of the weekly challenge will be selected by you based on the dollar value of the individual daily winner announcement posts and then entered to a mothly and possibly yearly challenge on the way to win the price of 150 SBD in total.
