Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #82 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

Halong Bay is probably a must visit in you're in northern Vietnam. So being a first time visit I did what all tourist did, even though I hate doing that. I took a cruise out to Halong Bay, boarded a smaller boat, toured around the limestone structures, watched how the locals live on their boats and finally went to Dong Thien Cung to look at the stalactites and stalagmites. All very touristy. Here's a photo I took when I was inside Dong Thien Cung, and I have to admit, it was quite remarkable inside.

I took this photo in The Forbidden City (Beijing, China). You can see a split tree. This is done in order to show that the nature is to be used according to the human nature. Moreover the shape of the tree corresponds to the Chinese character rén 人, which means “man” or “human being”. This reflects that in the Chinese culture even the simple things as to plant a tree always has other meanings. On the other hand you can see that the dominant colour is red, which in the Chinese culture is associated with prosperity.

Elephant mountain is easy to reach by metro and after a half hour hike up several stairs it offers an excellent view of Taipei and the unique Taipei 101. At sunset the viewing platform is always packed with people and many photographers.

Golden hour at Palolem Beach in Goa. The people of Goa are extremely friendly with a rich culture mixed with colonial Portuguese. During the day you can relax and do yoga at the retreats. At night the beach dogs go on patrol whilst visitors enjoy cocktails and good curry.

Morning Lights at Sigiriya Rock, Sri Lanka

Sigiriya is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Sri Lanka, but in the early morning, the amount of tourists is still low. The top of the "lion rock" features the impressive ruins of an ancient palace.

Toucheng is one of the earliest developed township in Taiwan. In the 17th century it was ruled by the Spanish for a short period, and now the town still retains a lot of the subsequent Qing dynasty character. This postcard view with a traditional old house in front of the lake is one of the beauty spots in the town.

Chocolate Hills, Bohol, Philippines. A rather oddly shaped landscape in the middle of this fine Philippine Island. Scientists and conspiracy-enthusiast do have interesting believes how these hills got to this place. Some say Aliens, some say Nature. It was fun to read about the creation of those weird chocolate hills. Great place after all.

Kufri
A hill station in Northern India, the hill station which was hidden untill 1819 was discovered by British India. The place Kufri was part of Nepal till British ceded as part of a treaty. The hill station is situated 20kms away from Shimla and has a large Himalayan wildlife.
The Name Kufri was derived from word kufr meaning lakes in local language.

My entry :

I took this picture during my visit to my country. It was located in PANABO FISH POND PANABO DAVAO DEL NORTE PHILIPPINES. I love the boat hidden in a mangrove and the color of the sea reflects the green leaves.
Just using my HUAWEI Y9 mobile phone.

Thank you @czechglobalhost

Finally made my gf set up her own steemit account, but for this week I will post one last photo from her trip to Indonesia before she takes over. It's from an island south to Semarang called Karimunjawa where she spent a night camping. Somehow there are treehouses by the beach and what you see on the bottom left is a wooden swing in the see.
