Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #24 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out approximately $4,600 in upvotes and 580 SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans

When I traveled to Israel last summer I had the opportunity to visit the historic Western Wall and Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. The Western Wall refers to the west wall of the Temple Mount. Since the Temple Mount has restrictions for entry, the wall became a holy place for Jewish people to pray. For me, one of the most interesting parts of this experience was watching the devoutly religious approach the wall that clearly means so much to them.

That's a cool shot.

Lonely farmer in Yangshuo
About an 1 hour drive south from Guilin is the smaller city Yangshuo. The area is really scenic, not as crowded and you can enjoy many outdoor activities. We went rafting and biking. This photo shows a farmer on his rice fields. They even have cattle running around along the river:)

Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Nepal.

This time I have this stunning capture of Boudhanath Stupa, a biggest Stupa in Kathmandu and Nepal. Well are also many other Boudhist stupas and Monastery inside Kathmandu valley too, but Boudhnath is one of the Famous one after Shyambunath.

Great click! What a capture. Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas

Marina Bay light show. While visiting Singapore, I decided to see this place everyone was telling me about: Marina Bay. I also heard of a light show that was going on every day and I was hoping to see it for myself... Here it is:

Location: Marina Bay, Singapore.

That is quite a show! Thanks for sharing!

TokyoCold.jpg

I took this shot a couple of weeks ago from a hotel bar in Shinagawa. It's looking North towards Tokyo Tower (332.9 metres or 1,092 ft). At the time of construction in 1958 Tokyo Tower was the tallest freestanding tower in the world, taking the title from the Eiffel Tower by 13 metres. Depending on where you draw the boundaries there are between 9 million and 38 million people living in Tokyo.

This picture located in sarangkot ,pokaha ,nepal which is only 5 km from Lake Side from Pokhara and highest view point at 1592m high for Sunrise and Sunset view over the snowy peaks. Sarangkot can be reached easily by 45 minutes by a car ride to the top from Pokhara and then 45 minutes hike up to the main view point.
This is the beautiful and mesmerizing view of sunset and amazing village ☺☺

I was walking down the beach in the little island of Koh Tao, Thailand, when without even realising it, the sun was gone and fishermen began to unload their catch of the day. This interesting palm tree caught my eye as soon as it lit up. The entire scene seemed like a fairy tale in that moment.

Shanghai, the most populous city of China. The skyline of Pudong is a must-see tourist spot at night even do the smog makes it hard to fully appreciate it. Crossing the river and walking trough the buildings is a good way to realize how big they really are.

Thank you so much for your participation. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on in a separate post.

This was taken last year when we go to a trip in Albay, Philippines. This is the perfect coned shape volcano, the Mayon Volcano. I took this picture because of the perfect reflection of its image in the ricefield with water. This volcano explodes last January 2018. Mayon is the one of the many tourist destination here in the Philippines.
