Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @sk-russell:

St. Vitus Cathedral. Wow! Just stunning inside and out. Great picture taking opportunities. Lots of us there visiting but it is worth the crowds! The cathedral is impressive, take time to read the explanations. The architecture is really huge and nice, i was impressed how it is well maintained. Beautiful church in the Prague castle.

Clearly one of the places in the Czech Republic where I like to go back. The view is magnificent, but to be worth it, it is necessary for a warning border. A beautiful place to remember the young. Beautiful walk with stunning views of the quarry.

That sure is a spectacular place well worth featuring in today's contest. Thank you so much for your participation. Tomas

Thanks to you for featuring my photo!

Side view of the Our Lady of the Assumption Co-Cathedral, a majestic Catholic church found in the historic center of Opava. Built in the early 13th century, the church is one of the largest religious buildings and most famous symbols of the city.

View of the Lesser Town Bridge Towers (Malostranské Mostecké Věže in the Czech language), two stylistically different towers, connected by a gate, form the entrance to the Lesser Town from the Charles Bridge, one of the most iconic landmarks of Prague.

Prague is a town built around the river, on many hills and bathers. Whether you watch Prague or take a picture from anywhere, you'll always have some interesting look.
The Prague Castle was built, of course, on a hill so as to be as protected as possible from attacks. At a later time, it was connected to the city by several stairs.

Cesky Krumlov is a lovely town that makes you feel like you are on a medieval movie set. I would definitely recommend a full day to enjoy the landscape, beautiful buildings. Tiny historicql center surrounding the castle is best early morning without tourists and late evening.

One of the most beautiful cities in the world, for sure. Preserved architecture, which records the history of several centuries. The towers are an attraction apart. The old city of Prague is, for me, one of the most beautiful I have ever known.

I really like that there are no cars visible in this image ~ 🤗✨ ~

Magnificent gothic attraction
Located inside the Presidential Palace complex, the St. Vitus Cathedral has unique interior designs and architectural sculptures. If you want to go inside, it is free. But, if you want to go more, you need to pay 250czk per person and then you can go more deeper into the Cathedral. 250czk is for many places (Golden Lane, Museums and the Old Castle).

magnificent indeed ~ 🌟 ~

Hi Steemians, my today’s picture from Prague’s Lesser Town Square featuring the view of the Baroque Saint Nicholas Church, built between 1704-1755 and the Holy Trinity Column, erected in 1715 by townsmen in gratitude for the end of a terrible plague epidemic which has been inflicted on Prague two years before then.

Sedlec Ossuary
An incredible and unique place. Choose your tour carefully or go on your own as you don't want to be rushed. This church is filled with decorations made from human bones and is both beautiful and confronting. The number of remains in such a small chapel is mind-blowing. A treasure and must-see for fans of death art. Some may find it creepy but it's a peaceful and respectful place.

Petrin Tower
Beautiful panoramic views of Prague, well worth the walk up through the gardens and the almost 300 steps to the top. This mini Eiffel Tower was a great experience, although you definitely feel the tower moving as you reach the top and the wind is blowing through!
