Many people will agree that the most famous monument of Prague is Charles Bridge. Here there is a view of this bridge crossing the Vltava River. The bridge with its towers is built in Gothic style. The sepia tone of the photo, gives to the mage a nostalgic mood.

It's already almost the end of the Christmas Markets... This is one is situated on Old Town Square where you can enjoy hot wine and other hot drinks and Trdelník (I still don't know how to pronounce it). On this market, there is also a stage where shows are given (sometimes a singer, sometimes a dance with kids, etc). And every hour from 3.30pm there is a light show on the Christmas Tree. I think it ends on January 6th.

The National Museum, in Czech: Národní muzeum, was founded in 1818 and is located at the top of the Wenceslas Square. The building as you can see in the photo was actually build between 1885 and 1890. Sadly it was attack during WW2 and in 1968. The National Museum holds five departments in more than 11 buildings all over the city. Actually the main building is closed since 2011 for reconstruction. The planned opening is scheduled for October 2018.

Stribrne Jezero (coloquially known as Sadrak) in Opava, Silesia, Czech Republic. It is a flooded quarry that attracts hundreds of local people in summer as the water is very clear and refreshing. There are few people around the lake in fall, although it offers these beautiful views. Image taken in October 2015.

Long exposure of the Troja bridge. I snuck out one night, strolled through the Stromovka park near our Airbnb and stumbled on this beauty. I must have taken 50 pictures of this bridge that night. something about it just memerized me. Hope you enjoyed.

St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague
Erected to honour a higher power, all temples provoke this awe-inspiring feeling. This huge cathedral set inside the Prague castle is no different from that and was one of my personal highlights of my visit to the Prague castle.

Another of the many nice places that can be visited in the Czech Republic is the Šumava mountains. The Chalupská slať moss is on the photo. An image known by all tourists and from all the postcards, because it is impossible to take shot elsewhere.

Today I will show you another photograph of my last travel to the Czech Republic. I took this photo during my visit of the Střekov Castle in the early morning, before all the tourists arrived. In this photo you have a wonderful view of the city Usti nad Labem and the river Elbe. Ústí nad Labem is located in the north-western part of the land of Bohemia, Czech Republic.

Prague Fairytale.
St. Vitus, Vltava and Charles Bridge. We have spent several great days with my wife in winter Prague. What a beautiful city! It is really hard to make two steps without shooting. This evening was especially beautiful. Blue hour, wonderful architecture, and the city lights. Just magic!

In the second largest city in the Czech Republic you can find statue of Jost Moravsky. On the Moravian square with the St. Thomas Church awaits visitors of Brno a surprise in the form of a monumental bronze sculpture.
Worth a visit! You will be surprised how tall the statue is;)

Telč is a town in southern Moravia, near Jihlava. The town was founded in the 13th century as a royal water fort on the crossroads of busy merchant routes between Bohemia, Moravia and Austria. It is surrounded with green forests and fishponds. On this picture we can see Telč castle viewed across one of the three fishponds.

In Prague there are places of interest that you just need to visit, some will have to be all day long.
One of them is the Prague Castle, where I was twice, but I did not manage to fully inspect its territory, all for the same reason. It is a view from the observation deck on the territory of Prague Castle with a beautiful view of Prague.
Its orange roofs are a characteristic sign of this fabulously, like a magical city.

There are always a lot of birds on the banks of the Vltava River. They are absolutely not afraid of people and they are happy to come. In order to see them, it is enough to descend to the water near the Charles Bridge.

More St. Vitus. Usually I forget to jump into b&w mode on my digital camera, in fact I don't even know how on my new camera. But they can be surprisingly beautiful.

I really like what Prague looks like from the top. And no matter where you will shoot. I can name a dozen points for shooting and everywhere you get a great view. The streets, houses, bridges, trees all combine into a picture.

Wow! I am delighted that one of my photos got here. As I enjoyed watching all the photos from my steemit comrades! Thank you Tomas!
I must say one thing :) my username is not sverimac but @svemirac. But I don't mind after all, I really enjoy watching all the photos from beautiful city and beautiful contry! ;)

Very well deserved, great contribution to the challenge!

It's amazing how many times people take a picture of the same monument and the outcome is different. For e.g. every other day one sees a picture of the Charles Bridge and each picture is different from the other.

I know, right? Absolutely spot on comment. Have a good one. Tomas

Děkuji :) You have a great evening!

Beautiful photos. In my opinion, the contrast of black and white, in the photo by @narchuk, makes this photograph the most beautiful among those selected.

Great to hear that. You can show some support to this amazing photographer by upvoting some of his work. Have a great day and keep on steeming. Tomas

Sure i will! Thanks!
