Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @krakonos:

Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert (This is its full name.) This cathedral is certainly one of the most photographed sights of Prague.
Few of the tourists know that the cathedral was built between the 14th and 20th centuries. And the two beautiful Gothic towers in the foreground were built in 1929 ...
But on my way to Petrin I suddenly saw this look. So I pressed the shutter photo ...
And I like this photo (a bit immature ...)

At the intersection of Jánská and Minoritská Streets in Brno, there stands a church dedicated to two Saint Johns – St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist. This church is the originally Gothic Minorite monastery from 1257. It was rebuilt in the baroque style by Moritz Grimm between 1729 and 1733. Next to the church there is a beautiful Loreto Chapel.
Ahoj!

I believe this might as well be the first time it makes it way to the contest which makes it a perfect entry for today's contest. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanx a lot, I am happy you liked the photo!

A large herd of cattle grazing freely on a meadow just outside of the tiny Silesian village of Horejsi Kuncice in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. I took this image while biking around the area a couple of weeks ago.

Wallenstein Palace Gardens
it is the most beautiful garden of the city with this entrance to the Senate and its decoration. you have to walk among the hedges of the gardens to appreciate the places from different angles, and so have pleasant views.

Cesky Krumlov is a very small country in the Czech Republic, Southern Bohemia to be precise and was among the first to be promoted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; title fully deserved! Cesky Krumlov is 160 km south of Prague, but arriving from Italy it is about thirty kilometers from the Austrian border (passing through Linz) and the road that leads to the entrance of the country runs along the Vltava river (the Vltava) giving glimpses and magnificent landscapes and, when it is the season, the river is populated by many canoes for rafting!

Old Town Square
Most beautyful city in our world. Invisible magic of Praha will lead you thru this city street by street, and romantical spirit that is present on every corner, building and window will makes you love Praha for the rest of your life. I love you my dear Praha!

I took this picture in Prague, on an evening in late August, when we were walking through the Old Town after having dinner in a typical brewery. I photographed from Via Celetna, the illuminated Prasna Brana tower.

Prague Castle
Large building with beautiful construction details and located next to the cathedral. Although they are of different architectures, it is a nice complex that gives variety to the place. From that place you can observe the city and its beauties, in addition there is a beautiful garden.

Dancing House
When you think of prague you picture old. It was nice to see a bit of modern. This building was pretty cool! It really stands out against the old architecture. The building is iconic for Prague and you should totally see it! Make a quick stop to the building, admire it and take a few pictures! You can also read more about the architects and how it was build, it was interesting for me.

Thank you so much for the feature Tomas! :)
Monastery of St.Agnes, street Na Františku, Prag, Old Town
P1090312.JPG
The monastery completed in 1231 today serves the needs of the National Gallery. Inside, art has been exhibited since antiquity to the 16th century.
However, the monastery is surrounded by gardens, with courtyards and other areas inside. Old art can not be exposed outdoors, in frost, in rain and in the sun.
That is why modern art is exposed outdoors. The photo is one of the former yards. It is represented by Gothic, Baroque, 20th century and finally art.

So for a change, I'll add something different than old architectural pieces which are kinda default here. This pic was taken month ago in Brno, right under the flat where my sis @zzuzza lives. Brno being city of students obviously offers loads of options to party or sit down for a beer. And this pub caught my eye cuz of the palettes used for sitting area. Cheap, good looking and creative. Pretty sure my sis sits there almost daily, being alittle hipster she is :D
