Prague/Czech Republic - Friday photo challenge - share your personal pictures from your visit to the Czech Republic!
WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all excited about the upcoming weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @narchuk:
If it's overcast in the street and it's snowing, it's not an excuse to sit at home. Snow can make an amazing transformation. The world around becomes like a pencil drawing. I was lucky to have visited Ceský Krumlov at different times of the year. But I can not choose when I liked more. But in the winter it was certainly magical.

When we arrived in Prague and walked through the city for the first time everything was dark and foggy. It was almost like in a vampire movie to walk across the Charles Bridge with its beautiful statues and i will never forget the silent and mystic atmosphere when the Lesser Town Bridge Tower slowly revealed its beauty through the fog.
Welcome to the challenge! You have made quite an entrance with your amazing image. It will get featured in today's edition as a welcoming entry. Tomas
Woohoo i'm really exited that i got featured on your blog!
Thank you very much, it really means a lot to me Tomas!
Just one little thing. I'm male and not female ;)
Karlštejn Castle is one of the most famous and most frequently visited castles in the Czech Republic. It is located one hour ride from Prague and another 20-minute walk uphill. The castle is also famous as a set to a comedy play Night at Karlštejn Castle.
What an amazing place for a day trip out of Prague! Highly recommended.
Side view shot of the St. Vitus Cathedral taken in winter 2015. Located right next to the Prague Castle, this iconic church is one of the most famous religious buildings in Prague as well as the whole country. The very origins of this majestic building date back to 930.
St. Nicholas Church is one of Prague's most beautiful churches. The impressive Baroque church stands in Mala Strana, Prague's old town. When I was visiting Prague, I passed this beautiful church every day on my way from my hostel to Charles Bridge or to the next tram stop.

Brilliant picture and from a very different angle than most.
This morning I came back to the Hluboká Castle again after a long time. All visitors take pictures of the entrance gate of the castle and there are lots of such pictures. When he's taking a picture, I'm trying to make a different look than usual.
Hii with prague view. I am really happy cause ı share my this photo with u guys. If someone ın prague can write me to travel together 😊 everything looks like perfect from the here. Have a nice day guys 😊
Very close to Turnov you can find Šťastná země. It is a great place for children. Full of slides, trampoline, aqua zorbing and a lot of other things. On the picture is an imitation of Castle Trosky.
The astronomical dial
The astronomical dial is part of The Orloj, the famous Astronomical Clock on the wall of the old Town Hall. This is the oldest part of the clock and was made in 1410. The dial represents the position of the sun and the moon in the sky. Note the skeleton on the side, which represents the death.Great close up pic!

A Different Way To Enjoy The Theatre
Taken from the same Kampa Park as yesterday's picture I posted, only looking ESE across the river instead of NE towards Charles Bridge, I managed to capture these two anonymous lovers enjoying the brisk air and beautiful view of the Národní divadlo (National Theatre) from across the Vltava River.
Wonderful photograph @narchuk; thanks for sharing! And a big thanks again to @czechglobalhosts for running these little contests.
Great image, I love it. Also thank you for your positive feedback. Tomas
One more classic view of Prague taken in a sunny summer day. In the foreground you can see the Wallenstein Garden. Moreover, the Charles Bridge and the historic building of National Theater are well seen also.
Beautiful image with very vibrant colors.
