Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

One of the beautiful historic houses found on the Upper Squre in the center of the Silesian city of Opava. The capital city of the Silesian Region of the Czech Republic, Opava was badly damaged during the WWII but fortunately, many of its architectural jewels survided or have been rebuilt.

Cesky Krumlov, Charming Renaissance style-town
A wonderful break from big-city travels in Prague, just three hours by bus. Looks like a Disney re-creation, but it's all real! The town has done a great job of preserving and restoring its historic character, including the lovely castle (complete with live bears in the moat). If you are a theatre lover, don't miss the rotating theatre in the castle garden (afternoon & evening performances) and the Baroque Theatre tour in the castle (one of only two fully restored in all of Europe). Good food, good sights, good shopping, nice offering of outdoor activites (we went canoeing for half a day into the countryside). Lots to do but at a relaxed pace.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert is a Roman Catholic metropolitan cathedral in Prague and it also serves as the seat of the Archbishop of Prague.
I just love the view of the dramatic spires that dominate Prague’s fairytale skyline. Be sure it takes your breath away when you in Prague.

The old city is truly extraordinary and makes Prague one of the most beautiful cities I met on my trip, with beautiful architecture and majestic buildings: the astronomical clock, the church of Our Lady of Tyn Tyn, the Town Hall, etc. The route through its streets until you arrive is really beautiful. It is highly recommended to walk day and nohe since it has very nice lighting.

Just behind the Czech National Bank main office in Prague is the wonderful Henry's Tower which was built in the 15th century. This tower, on the left, has a restaurant and a really excellent whisky bar.

Night lighting of St. Anthony's Cathedral on Strossmayer Square, Prague

Like in all major European cities, ofcourse in Prague, the most memorable monuments are illuminated at night. Now, in the autumn and winter, there is more darkness. So besides the day tour of Prague you can also go for a night tour.
Sights can be found easily. They are shining. (I do not wonder if it's right for our planet. A little waste of energy, isn´t it?)

Cesky Krumlov
What a beautifully picturesque town. So many people miss out on this but I'm so glad I was able to make it. It is amazingly beautiful. The scenery is magical and so pleasing to the eye. If you're in the area make the journey. I stayed for one night and took the journey from Prague (approx 3 hrs). It's absolutely worth it.

Old Town Square
very beautiful city! Old town compressed and everything within easy walking distance. As far as travel time is concerned, you should be willing to take risks and go out of town in spring or autumn, otherwise the city is even fuller!

John Lennon Wall
On the walk way from Petrin to Karl’s bridge you should visit this place. Place would be excellent if you are there by your self as there is nice atmosphere but it is for sure nice to see. Nearby is restaurant of John Lennon which looks nice from outside.

Cathedral of St. Bartholomew is the largest and most beautiful church in the city. It is located in the central Republic Square. The square is beautiful, a bit of its attractiveness reduces the modern fountains. In good weather the church tower overlooks a wide area, the whole of Plzeň is overlooked. The cathedral boasts the highest tower in the whole country.

One of the most beautiful churches we have ever visited and in this beautiful little town of Kutna Hora. so very glad we were told about this town and found the time to visit - so many hidden gems. Beautiful town. Friendly people.
