Enough with memories, here comes the real shit live from conceptskip' s annual leave in Northern Spain, umm well... let's better say in Basque Country and Asturias...:
I lived in the San Sebastián/Donostia area for about 6 months when I was a kid. On the fiirst day in town the mayor was shot :P Even so it remains one of the favourite places I have ever lived ....and I've lived in a LOT of places.
San Sebastian is certainly nice, intend to have a quick stop there too. And the violence should be something of the past by now, although a clear sense of uniqueness prevails.
