Explore Singapore: A Trip to Remember

Many people love to travel, just like me. Before, I always dreamed of going to different places around the Philippines and around the world.

I remember clearly, a few years ago, I saw an airplane and I asked myself, “When am I going to ride an airplane again? I know I’ll be able to travel soon and I hope it’s out of the country.” Lo and behold, what I hoped for happened after 1-2 weeks! It was so fast and it was too good to be true. My superior talked to me and told me that I was one of the few chosen people to represent our company in a real estate
convention in Singapore. The best part is that it was an all-expense paid trip!

Since it was my first time to travel abroad, my heart was filled with excitement. I also felt to grateful to be given this opportunity.

Beary Best Hostel

This was our home in our entire trip—the Beary Best Hostel. It’s located in Chinatown. The Hostel is just small but being there gives a “cool” and relaxing feeling because of the cute “beary” theme.

We stayed in Singapore for 8 days so I was able to do explore the country. Since it is a country known to be “safe”, I was quite brave to go alone in different places in some days when we have free time. Transportation is easy because the train system is world class.

Universal Studios in Singapore is a famous tourist destination so I made sure to go there. I’ll share more about this on another blog.

What I love about Singapore is that it’s not a very big country so you can explore it even if you have a few days of stay. Also, I am impressed with the discipline that people have in Singapore. It really is a country that is clean and where people follow the law, even in simplest forms like in crossing the road or not littering. I also felt safe in this country. I can go around places just holding my ipad and phone without the fear that someone might steal them. I even travelled alone at night unafraid that bad people were around. Well, that was my personal experience but of course, it is always advised that we should be alert and cautious everywhere we go.

In any travel, trying local food is a must. Here are some of the food I tried:

Overall, I must say that my trip has been so amazing and unforgettable. Singapore is a country you must visit and put in your travel list.
