RE: I don't know yet.

But if you tell someone you're going away for three months, they'll think it's ages.

It feels longer because there are more unique experiences which creates a more diverse timeline and a story, but when everything is just routine, there's less things to "grab on", hence it feels much shorter in hindsight. Well that's my (another) theory anyway.

I agree. Those three months flew by, even though I stayed in various places for a week at a time rather than a couple of days like some travelers do. I much prefer the slower pace of traveling. I can't remember who it was, might have been martibis, at steemfest said he thought 3 months was a long time to stay just in Thailand. He was like, "you could have done Vietnam and Cambodia as well in that time." Ha ha, I'm too lazy for such quick dashing about 😆

I agree @celestal time passes by a lot differently. Though I don't know, I've never really been away a whole lot. I've never been away three months like you @raj808 or however long you wandered about, @celestal :P And I'm really curious what that would be like... Especially to just stay in one place, get a feel of it, like a sort of new home, you know?

Sorry, daydreaming a bit into your conversation, guys :D

It was something like 54 days that I was away. Though I never stayed put for long: longest time was in Krakow for about 10 days and then in Oradea for about the same time.

I'm always up for listening to a good daydream ;)

54 days is nothing to sneeze at :O I've been contemplating a long term trip, and I must say this conversation and my present budget are butting heads right now :))))

Yeah, I remembered thinking you'd show up around here much sooner :D Oh well, sometimes it's good to stay, sometimes it's good to go, I suppose.

Haha especially when it's to do with travel, right? ;)

If your open to the idea, you could try to find a hostel or some place to volunteer at. Hostel was the first thing that comes to my mind, because there you'll have a high chance to meet like-minded people, so it wouldn't be an awful job, I think.

Haha, yes :D
