The Western Cape, South Africa

in #travel7 years ago

I just came back from South Africa where I spent Christmas and New Years at a friends house on the Western Cape. So in my next few posts I am going to share some of the content I created while I was there.

In this post you can see photos of the coastal walk we did in Hermanus as well as some flat lays and flower shots I took.

The coastal walk in Hermanus was absolutely breathtaking. There is just something about seeing huge waves break on rocks that makes me thoughtful. I suppose it reminds me of the power of nature. I could stare at waves for hours!

There are lots of proteas and lots of hydrangeas around the Western Cape. Both beautiful flowers, which I saw often. Funnily enough there were also lots of streets or housing zones named after the Protea.

Excellent photos that nice landscape.

Oh wow so gorgeous! I've never seen a protea but we have lots of hydrangeas here. They're so beautiful! I've always wanted to check out South Africa. It looks amazing. Your photos are gorgeous, as expected. Cheers! :)

Thanks love! If you get a chance, I highly recommend it! It’s a country with a complex history and many different cultural influences. Plus the landscape is absolutely stunning and quite diverse!
